FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
MFL Homes is accepting applications for Exterior Cleaning Technicians to provide professional cleaning and exterior property-care services throughout Central Florida.
The successful applicant will help clean and maintain residential properties using appropriate pressure-washing and soft-washing methods. This position requires careful preparation, safe equipment use and respect for customers’ homes, landscaping and surrounding property.
Previous exterior-cleaning experience is preferred, but practical training may be provided to a dependable applicant with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Pressure wash driveways, patios, walkways and other suitable hard surfaces
• Soft wash appropriate exterior building surfaces
• Clean gutters and complete related exterior upkeep
• Prepare work areas and protect plants, fixtures and surrounding property
• Select appropriate equipment, pressure levels and cleaning methods
• Measure, handle and apply approved cleaning products safely
• Set up, inspect and maintain hoses, pumps and cleaning equipment
• Identify surface damage or conditions that require additional care
• Take clear before-and-after photographs
• Maintain clean, organized and safe work areas
• Communicate professionally with customers
• Follow company procedures, product instructions and safety requirements
• Report property damage, access issues or additional maintenance concerns
• Assist with other exterior property-maintenance duties when required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Reliable transportation to the designated reporting location or job site
• Reliable cell phone and consistent communication
• Ability to travel throughout the MFL Homes service area
• Willingness to complete any required employment screening
• Ability to understand and follow product labels and safety instructions
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must be able to perform the essential duties of the position, with reasonable accommodation where applicable.
The position may involve:
• Extended periods of standing and walking
• Regular bending, reaching, kneeling and lifting
• Working outdoors in heat, humidity and changing weather conditions
• Handling hoses, equipment and cleaning products
• Using ladders and working at moderate heights after appropriate training
• Wearing required personal protective equipment
• Working around wet surfaces and residential landscaping
COMPENSATION AND DEVELOPMENT
• Starting pay of $18–$24 per hour
• Starting rate based on previous experience and practical ability
• Paid training on MFL Homes procedures and equipment
• 90-day performance and compensation review
• Opportunity to develop specialist pressure-washing and soft-washing skills
• Potential progression to Lead Exterior Cleaning Technician
• Additional hours and responsibilities may become available as demand grows
