MAINTENANCE HELPER / TRAINEE
Polk/Lake Counties & Central Florida
$18–$21 per hour | Part-time initially | Opportunity to progress to full-time
Join MFL Homes in an entry-level, hands-on position with paid on-the-job training. You’ll work alongside an experienced tradesman, assisting with property repairs, painting, preventive maintenance, exterior upkeep, job preparation and cleanup.
No previous trade experience is required. We’re looking for someone dependable, practical and motivated to learn while building a long-term career in property maintenance.
EXTERIOR CLEANING TECHNICIAN
Polk/Lake Counties & Central Florida
$18–$24 per hour | Full-time or part-time opportunities
Join MFL Homes as an Exterior Cleaning Technician, helping homeowners and property managers maintain clean, well-presented properties throughout Central Florida.
The role may include pressure washing driveways, patios and walkways; soft washing appropriate exterior surfaces; gutter cleaning; preparing and protecting surrounding areas; safely handling cleaning products and equipment; and documenting completed work with clear before-and-after photographs.
Previous exterior-cleaning experience is preferred, but training may be provided to the right candidate. Applicants must be dependable, safety-conscious, comfortable working outdoors and committed to excellent customer service.
CUSTOMER SERVICE & OPERATIONS ASSISTANT
Polk/Lake Counties & Central Florida
$18–$23 per hour | Part-time opportunity
MFL Homes is accepting applications from organized, customer-focused individuals who can help support the day-to-day operation of a growing property-services company.
The role may include answering customer inquiries, scheduling appointments, maintaining customer records, following up on leads, preparing estimates and invoices, coordinating field appointments, assisting with Home Care Club and Home Watch administration, and supporting basic website and social-media updates.
Applicants should communicate professionally, stay organized while managing multiple tasks and be comfortable using email, online scheduling systems and standard office software. Previous customer service, scheduling or administrative experience is preferred.
PROPERTY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Polk/Lake Counties & Central Florida
$22–$28 per hour | Full-time or part-time opportunities
MFL Homes is seeking experienced property-maintenance professionals capable of completing repairs and improvement work to a consistently high standard.
The role may include general repairs, painting, preventive maintenance, exterior upkeep, Home Care Club service visits and communicating directly with customers. Applicants should be confident working independently, identifying practical solutions and maintaining a clean, professional work area.
Relevant maintenance, handyman or multi-trade experience is required.
ROOFING HELPER
Polk/Lake Counties & Central Florida
$18–$21 per hour | Full-time or part-time opportunities
MFL Homes is accepting applications from dependable individuals interested in developing a career in roofing.
Working alongside experienced roofing professionals, you may assist with job-site preparation, material handling, roof installation, repairs, property protection and cleanup. Paid on-the-job training will be provided, with opportunities to develop practical roofing skills and progress within the company.
Previous roofing or construction experience is helpful but not required. Applicants must be safety-conscious, comfortable working outdoors and at height, and able to perform the physical duties of the position.
EXPERIENCED ROOFERS & ROOFING CREWS
Polk/Lake Counties & Central Florida
Roofing Technicians: $22–$28 per hour
Crew Leaders: $28–$35 per hour
Established Crews: Compensation based on experience and working arrangement
MFL Homes is accepting applications from experienced individual roofers, crew leaders and established roofing crews committed to quality workmanship and professional job-site standards.
Florida shingle-roofing experience is strongly preferred. Experience with tile, metal, low-slope roofing, repairs and storm-related work is also valuable. Applicants should be safety-conscious, dependable and able to provide evidence of previous work and professional references.
